I have ordered the books I haven't read from the library, which had everything except A Ball For Daisy.
I was very happy with the Caldecott selections. A BALL FOR DAISY is an amazing wordless picture book. I’m under-read in the other categories. Must raid library soon!
ReplyDeleteThere are many titles I haven't read on that linked ALA list, too, so the raid is in progress on my end - at least I now have several on hold at the library and it doesn't look like there's anyone before me on the list.
ReplyDeleteI've been stuck in jury duty, so this was the first time I saw the list! I've only read BLACKOUT, which I got from the Cybils finalists, and Grandpa Green, which I read with my son and we loved.

I've never had the "joy" of jury duty. It doesn't sound like much fun.
