She read books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live. ~ Annie Dillard
Thanks for the list! I’m only familiar with a handful of these.
This is a great list! I am familiar with several of these, and Eve Bunting's "Night Tree" is on my list of favorites, too.Next week at Three Thinking Mothers (http://www.threethinkingmothers.com) we are posting about our favorite holiday books. I'd love it if you would link this post up then. The link will open on Monday.
Ahhhh... The Christmas Cat and The Doll's Christmas! Two favorites from my childhood that I haven't thought of since. So glad you reminded me of these! I can't wait to look for them (and the others on the list look cool too).
Some of these I am familiar with, others are new to me, either way they all look wonderful. Thanks for this great roundup of Christmas books.
Several of these are brand new to me, which surprises me since we have read SO MANY Christmas books. I think there must be a limitless supply! I'm taking notes. . . :-)
Lots of these titles are new to me, so THANK YOU! I'm so glad you linked with Three Thinking Mothers and I saw this post. Woo hoo -- bookmarked for this year and next!
This is a great list! I forgot about Gift of the Magi...and I have to see if I can find the Cynthia Rylant book--we love her!
